Preparation Checklist

Congratulations on the sale of your property!

Here is a checklist that may help you get ready as you prepare for settlement.

KITCHEN

Clean Stove, oven/griller, hot plates, range hoods & exhaust fans

Bench tops, cupboards, pantry shelves, drawers cleaned inside and out

Sink and stainless-steel surfaces cleaned

Dishwasher Run empty cycle.

BATHROOM

Bench tops, cupboards, drawers & exhaust fans to be cleaned

Toilet including seat set and pedestal to be cleaned

Basin, bath and shower/screens to be cleaned and any residual hair removed

LAUNDRY

All bench tops, cupboards & laundry trough to be cleaned

Cupboards to be cleaned inside and out including the doors

Light fittings, windows, tracks and sills to be cleaned

GENERAL

Drapes/ curtains/ blinds to be washed & Verticals / venetians to be wiped over

Carpets vacuumed & Floors swept & mopped

Power points, fans and light switches to be cleaned

Fixtures – Anything attached to walls must be left – ie TV Brackets

OUTSIDE

Lawns to be mowed and gardens weeded

Front and back verandas, paths & driveways to be swept/blown

Cobwebs removed from eaves and internal walls/cornice

Garden shed/garage to be tidied, swept and cobwebs removed

All rubbish to be removed, rubbish bins to be emptied.

SERVICES TO ARRANGE

Disconnect Electricity, Gas, Telephone (if applicable) and Water

INCLUSIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

Please refer to your contract regarding chattels that will remain with the property, and what fixtures must stay (ie TV brackets) in their entirety.
